How long does registration take? +
The form takes about 5 minutes. FICA verification is completed within 24 hours on business days. You'll receive an email once activated.
Can I bid before FICA is verified? +
No. FICA verification is required by law before you can participate. Once approved, you can bid in any upcoming session with a paid deposit.
Is the deposit per lot or per session? +
Per session. One R 50,000 deposit covers the full Saturday auction β you can bid on as many lots as you like in that session.
Can I bid from outside South Africa? +
Yes. Foreign nationals may register using a valid passport and proof of address. Additional FICA requirements may apply β contact us before registering.
What if I win a lot? +
10% of the hammer price is due on fall of hammer (your deposit is applied). The remaining 90% plus buyer's premium (10% + VAT) is due within 30 days.
